Stitched Panorama

1) Describe who David Hockney is and how he became well-known.
David Hockney is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. In June 1967, he painted "A Bigger Splash" which is considered the painting that jump started his career. With the success of his painting he then created the first "joiner."

2) Explain the similarities and differences between David Hockney's "joiners" and your phone's "pano" mode.      Your phone's "pano" mode and David Hockney's "Joiners" are very similar and very different. Both are photographs that are stitched together to create a brand new image. Pano mode uses your phone which automatically stitches it together for you. Joiners however are basically a DIY project you can do at home. They consist of multiple pictures taken with a camera, which are then printed and then glued together. 3) In creating a panoramic image, explain each step involved in the photo stitching process.
